Scope of positions

Performs maintenance activities and certification in accordance with company authorization, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and relevant technical data to optimize serviceability of aircraft(s) and support operational schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Issuance of Category C / Base Maintenance Release certification upon completion of maintenance check.
  • Issue Work Completion Statement to operator that is not under SAE approved NAA list and ensure work carried out meets the requirements of the OEM and company.
  • To perform complete review of aircraft check documentations for proper issuance, completeness, accuracy and any discrepancy to meet the SAE and customer's requirements.
  • Ensure maintenance performed is to the highest standards and in accordance with all relevant technical data (e.g. instructions laid down in the aircraft approved documents).
  • Ensure all tasks are performed and certified by appropriately authorized signatories with license and authorization / approval remains valid during course of aircraft maintenance check.
  • Ensure that all maintenance performed on designated aircraft(s) is completed, reported and complete overview is maintained.
  • Liaise with Production Team Leader / Coordinator and Dock Planner for the update of the assigned aircraft check status in relation to aircraft check documentation.
  • Check and monitor progressive signing of tasks cards by authorized personnel is compiled and performed diligently.
  • Conducts a Documents & Procedures briefing prior to aircraft input and provide general documentation review report upon completion of the aircraft check when required.
  • To perform general surveillance and ensure maintenance performed is to the highest standards and in accordance with all relevant technical data
  • Upkeep and live Airbus Values, Leadership Model and Code of Conduct to be exemplary to others and to promote and increase the awareness of Airbus Values, Leadership Models and Code of Conduct.
  • Carry out any other task as directed by the superior.

Minimum Education

  • Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License or Equivalent

Minimum Experience

  • Eight years of maintenance experience. In which 3 years as B1/B2 certifying staff.

Other qualifications, training, experience, knowledge, skills, certifications, legal or professional body authorization

  • Good organization skills including time management, good file and record organization and report Writing.
  • Ability to work under pressure and with short deadlines.
  • Flexibility of work schedule including weekends and public holidays
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to team and customers.
  • Good working knowledge of various National Aviation Authorities on Part 145/Part M requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with multidisciplinary teams in various departments.
