Overview

We are seeking a driven and ambitious Junior Finance Executive to join our Accounts Receivable team. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain valuable experience in finance while contributing to the success of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in finance and accounting principles, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable Support:

  • Assist with the management of accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payment posting, and collections.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions.
  • Follow up with parents on past due accounts and escalate issues as needed.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Compile and analyze financial data related to accounts receivable, such as aging reports, analyse charges report, analyse invoice and receipt report.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for superior review.
  • Identify trends and insights to support decision-making and process improvement efforts.

Customer Interaction:

  • Communicate with parents regarding billing inquiries, payment arrangements, and account reconciliations.
  • Build positive relationships with parents to facilitate prompt resolution of issues and promote parents' satisfaction.
  • Provide exceptional service while upholding company policies and procedures.

Process Improvement Initiatives:

  • Participate in projects to streamline accounts receivable processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Propose ideas for automation and technological enhancements to improve workflow.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices and internal controls.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, administration, customer service, and finance, to support overall business objectives.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by superior.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions to foster professional growth and development.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  2. Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
  3. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
  4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in finance and business operations.
