Responsibilities

1) Draft, review and amend a broad range of corporate and commercial documents, including share purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements, joint venture agreements, and other transactional documentation.

2) Advise clients on corporate structures, regulatory compliance, and governance matters.

3) Assist in due diligence exercises, transaction management, and deal execution for M&A and other corporate transactions.

4) Prepare and negotiate commercial contracts, such as supply, distribution, licensing, and services agreements.

5) Support partner and team members in managing client relationships and delivering high-quality, timely legal solutions.

6) Conduct legal research and provide written opinions on corporate and commercial law matters.

Requirements

1) LLB or equivalent legal qualification from a recognised university.

2) Admitted to the Malaysian Bar.

3) 1-6 years PQE in corporate and commercial law.

4) Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.

5) Must be a team player and show initiative

6) Good knowledge of the Companies Act 2016, securities regulations, and related Malaysian corporate laws.

7) Excellent command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

8) A proactive, detail-oriented and team-oriented individual with strong communication skills and commercial awareness
