Your new company

You will be joining the regional hub for a European company that operates across 50+ countries and specialises in industrial minerals and chemical distribution.

Your new role

  • This is a newly created role in Malaysia based in their office in Bangsar.
  • You will design and drive the implementation of the data centre infrastructure solutions.
  • You will need to come out with the design, infrastructure solutions and implementations for the server rooms for their new office/ plants.
  • Identify issues and dependencies related to solution design and implementation and request prompt mitigating actions
  • Manage project-related activities by assigning resources and providing updates on the status of infrastructure projects, while also delegating tasks and responsibilities to team members to ensure clarity and accountability within the project scope.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in solution design and implementation, to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum of 5 years in a data centre operation-related role
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience of infrastructure solutions design and implementation
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented, with a passion for innovation and customer-centricity.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with culturally diverse audiences and stakeholders.
