Position Overview

The Leasing Executive is responsible for securing strategic retail locations, managing tenancy matters, and supporting the company's expansion plans within the F&B industry. This role plays a key part in driving business growth by identifying potential sites, negotiating lease agreements, and maintaining strong relationships with landlords, mall operators, and property partners.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Property Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years experience in leasing, real estate, or property-related roles; experience in F&B, retail, or shopping mall industry is an added advantage.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of commercial leasing terms and retail market trends.
  • Ability to travel and work under minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and able to prepare professional reports.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Sourcing & Evaluation

  • Identify and propose suitable retail locations aligned with the company's brand strategy and expansion plan.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and footfall studies to support site feasibility.
  • Assess location visibility, accessibility, demographics, and commercial viability.

2. Leasing & Negotiations

  • Manage end-to-end leasing processes including proposals, negotiations, and documentation.
  • Prepare leasing packages, rental comparisons, and financial justifications for management approval.
  • Negotiate commercial terms such as rental rates, tenancy duration, fit-out periods, and renewal terms.

3. Tenancy Management

  • Coordinate with landlords and mall management for tenancy matters, renewals, and amendments.
  • Monitor lease expiry dates and provide timely recommendations for renewal or relocation.
  • Ensure compliance with lease terms and maintain accurate leasing records.

4. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with Business Development, Project, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure smooth site opening and handover.
  • Support fit-out coordination by arranging site access, technical requirements, and tenancy deliverables.

5. Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare leasing reports, market updates, and pipeline summaries for management review.
  • Maintain updated leasing databases, contracts, and internal tracking systems.
