Procurement Manager (Retail & Malls)

  • Location: Kuala Lumpur
  • Salary: RM9,000 – RM12,000 per month

Company Overview

Our client is a leading retail property group managing a chain of shopping malls across the Klang Valley. We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and manage the end-to-end procurement function, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals.

  • Forecast and plan procurement needs for mall operations, marketing, tenancy fit-out, and maintenance.

  • Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers, contractors, and service providers.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to ensure value for money.

  • Lead RFQ, RFP, and tender processes in line with company SOPs.

  • Monitor budgets and implement cost-saving initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, ISO procedures, and statutory requirements.

  • Support fit-out, renovation, asset replacement, and CAPEX projects.

  • Maintain accurate procurement records and use ERP/e-procurement systems.

  • Collaborate with Mall Management, Finance, and Group Procurement on key procurement matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience (retail, mall, construction, or property procurement preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation.

  • Strong commercial acumen, cost control mindset, and ethical standards.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Able to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

Added Advantage

  • Experience in mall or retail procurement environment.

  • Familiarity with tenancy fit-out works and local procurement regulations.

  • Knowledge of esg Compliant sourcing or green procurement practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM9, RM13,151.09 per month
