Charterhouse Malaysia is looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Executive to join our finance team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Main Responsibilities

  1. Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) functions including invoicing, collection tracking, and reconciliation of student fee payments.
  2. Prepare monthly aging reports, follow up on outstanding balances, and support parent communications on billing matters.
  3. Maintain accurate general ledger entries, ensuring timely posting and reconciliation of accounts.
  4. Assist in monthly and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and financial reporting.
  5. Oversee Uniform Shop operations, including sales transactions, stock management, and supplier coordination.
  6. Prepare and review monthly Uniform Shop profit and loss statements and ensure accurate cash handling and deposit records.
  7. Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with school financial policies.
  8. Collaborate with the Finance team and other departments to ensure smooth financial and operational processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Business Central, Autocount, etc).
  • Minimum of 3 year's work experience  in the related field is required for this position.
  • Experience in retail or school environment will be an added advantage.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English is essential.  Ability to speak and write in Mandarin is an added advantage.
