About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager - Compliance to join our team at Motosikal Dan Enjin Nasional Sdn Bhd in Gurun, Kedah. This full-time position plays a crucial role in ensuring the company's compliance with industry regulations and internal policies, as well as optimising our systems and processes.

What you'll be doing

• Developing, implementing and maintaining effective compliance systems, processes and controls to meet regulatory requirements
• Providing expert advice and guidance to the business on all compliance-related matters
• Environmental & Social Governance (ESG) – Business Continuity Management (BCM):
• To be a focal person for Business Continuity Management (BCM) for Modenas Group.
• Collaborate with BCM team at DRB-Hicom Group level to develop, maintain, and test business continuity plans, ensuring effective incident response, risk assessment, and compliance across the organization.
• Identifying, assessing and mitigating compliance risks across the organisation
• Conduct risk assessments and BIAs to identify potential threats and their impacts on business operations.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement
• Staying up-to-date with changes in relevant laws, regulations and industry best practices
• Developing and delivering compliance training to employees
• Maintaining detailed records and preparing management reports on compliance activities

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a compliance or risk management role within the banking and financial services industry
• Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations and industry standards applicable to the financial sector
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate compliance risks
• Proven track record of developing and implementing effective compliance programs
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to support compliance monitoring and decision-making
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as finance, law or business administration
