Our client is an Industrial Supply and Distribution company specializing in mechanical, industrial, and power transmission equipment and products. With over 30 years of experience and expertise, the company has built strong, trusted relationships with customers and suppliers alike—relationships that continue to grow as they consistently strive to exceed expectations.   ​

Their customers include industries like food and beverage, steel mills, automotive, power plant, cement, oil & gas, water treatment etc.

A leading supplier to the process industries, ​our Client serve​s over 3,000 customers across Malaysia and ​beyond.

Our Client needs to hire a SENIOR SALES ENGINEER which is pivotal in expanding their market presence, developing key accounts, and delivering end-to-end industrial solutions.

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years industrial sales experience, preferably serving factory or plant customers across multiple segments (manufacturing, processing, utilities, etc.)

The Person

  • Results-oriented professional with solid technical and commercial expertise in industrial automation, maintenance, and factory process solutions.
  • Brings practical experience working with diverse manufacturing sectors — including food & beverage, steel, automotive, cement, and palm oil — to drive sales growth across leading product brands distributed by the company.
  • Works closely with the product team to develop and recommend optimal system configurations.
  • Provides on-site support for troubleshooting and commissioning as needed.

Qualifications


• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.


• Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial sales or technical service roles dealing with factory environments.


• Proven success in selling automation, MRO, or mechanical solutions to industrial clients.


• Strong technical knowledge in pneumatic systems, lubrication, power transmission, and conveyor safety.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.


• Possess own transport and willing to travel nationwide.

• Prior experience handling products category such as Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Process Automation, Power Transmission Products.


• Existing customer base in F&B manufacturing, Automotive, Power Plant, or Process industries.
