About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Golang Developer to join our client's dynamic development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend systems and APIs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions that support business goals and enhance user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend systems using Golang.
  • Build RESTful or gRPC APIs and integrate with external systems.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure high availability.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, frontend, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and architecture planning.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in backend development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Golang.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).
  • Proficiency in RESTful APIs, gRPC, and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
  • Familiar with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated testing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3, RM15,329.72 per month
