About the role

As a Warehouse Assistant Supervisor at TWIN ARROW (SARAWAK) SDN BHD', you will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility in Bintulu, Sarawak. This is a full-time position that will see you leading a team of warehouse operatives to ensure the efficient and effective management of our inventory and logistics processes.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervising and coordinating the activities of the warehouse team to ensure productivity and efficiency targets are met
  • Overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, including managing stock levels and inventory control
  • Implementing and maintaining health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Providing training and support to warehouse staff, and identifying opportunities for their professional development
  • Collaborating with other departments to streamline logistics and distribution processes
  • Generating and analysing reports to identify areas for improvement and optimisation

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role
  • Strong organisational and people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control practices
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to work, with a keen eye for detail
