System Architect

As the System Architect in AGYTEK's Product Solution team, you will be responsible for defining and guiding the overall architecture of AGYTEK's industrial digital products — including MES, EAM, DI dashboards, and related Industry 4.0 solutions. You will design scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures that bridge operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT), supporting modular deployment across multiple industries.

This role requires a strong understanding of enterprise systems, data integration, cloud-native architectures, and industrial communication protocols. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and solution consultants to ensure AGYTEK's product suite achieves both technical excellence and market adaptability.

Key Responsibilities

1) System Architecture & Design

• Define and maintain the end-to-end architecture blueprint for AGYTEK's MES and industrial software ecosystem.
• Design scalable, modular, and cloud-compatible architectures that support multi-tenant deployments.
• Evaluate system performance, integration efficiency, and technology scalability for current and future releases.
• Ensure architecture compliance with security, data integrity, and industrial communication standards (ISA-95, OPC UA, MQTT).

2) Technical Leadership & Solution Governance

• Lead technical design discussions and ensure consistency across product modules.
• Provide architectural guidance during software development, integration, and deployment.
• Conduct system code and infrastructure reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Define API strategies and microservices frameworks for product interoperability.

3) Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Product Managers to translate functional requirements into architectural solutions.
• Collaborate with R&D teams (local and China-based) to align technical design with product roadmap.
• Support Pre-Sales and Solution teams with system diagrams, deployment models, and infrastructure estimations.
• Advise implementation teams on optimal configuration, scaling, and performance tuning.

4) Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Research and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, IoT, Edge Computing, Cloud Native Services) for inclusion in AGYTEK's solution stack.
• Drive modernization of legacy systems toward service-oriented and containerized architectures.
• Promote reusability, automation, and DevOps adoption across the product lifecycle.
• Contribute to AGYTEK's internal technical standards and best practice documentation.

5) System Security & Reliability

• Ensure data protection and system resilience through robust architecture design.
• Establish guidelines for access control, encryption, and disaster recovery.
• Oversee architecture readiness for regulatory compliance (ISO 27001, GDPR, PDPA).
• Work with infrastructure teams to validate redundancy, backup, and failover strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in software architecture or system design, preferably within MES, ERP, or IIoT domains.
• Proven expertise in system integration, cloud architecture, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with API frameworks, data pipelines, and industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT).
• Familiar with databases (SQL, NoSQL), messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong documentation and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concept

Added Advantages

• Certification in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or enterprise architecture (TOGAF, Zachman).
• Experience designing large-scale manufacturing or logistics systems.
• Knowledge of data lake, AI analytics, and digital twin concepts.
• Ability to lead cross-border technical collaboration with China-based or ASEAN development teams.
• Can communicate, read and write in Mandarin
