A fast-growing multinational EMS company is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a cross-functional engineering team in Johor Bahru. This role oversees new product introduction (NPI), automation upgrades, and production support. Ideal for Penang-based engineering leads or engineering manager ready to step into a high-impact leadership role in a structured, supportive MNC environment.

Relocation support and bonus buyout can be considered.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of process, industrial, and NPI engineers
  • Drive new product introductions (NPI) from sample to pilot and mass production
  • Oversee process setup, jigs, routings, FMEA, BOM, and SOP governance
  • Collaborate with QA, Test, R&D, and Production to meet customer and IPC standards
  • Improve yield, cost, and production efficiency through continuous improvement
  • Ensure timely closure of ECNs and technical escalations
  • Support equipment upgrades and manufacturing capability expansion

Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.)
  • 5+ years in manufacturing or engineering, with team leadership experience
  • Strong NPI exposure, PCBA knowledge, and process engineering fundamentals
  • Familiar with automation, yield improvement, and lean manufacturing
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, IPC-A-610, and EMS best practices
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and cross-team collaboration skills
  • Willing to relocate to Johor Bahru (relocation support available) if from outstation
