Job Responsibilities

Lead and manage all Quality Assurance (QA) and Customer Technical Service (CTS) functions to ensure product compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Act as the primary interface with customers on quality and technical matters, driving continuous improvement and supporting operational excellence in can manufacturing.
This position will be based in Cambodia.

Quality Management

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the plant's Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO, BRC, GMP, and industry standards.
  • Ensure all products meet internal, customer, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for customer complaints, internal non-conformances, and audit findings.
  • Oversee laboratory testing, inspection protocols, and quality control procedures across all production lines.
  • Drive continuous improvement programs to reduce defects, scrap, and rework.
  • Plan and manage internal and external quality audits.

Customer Technical Service (CTS)

  • Act as the key technical liaison with customers regarding product performance, trials, complaints, and specifications.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support during can filling, seaming, and end-use application at customer sites.
  • Lead investigations into customer claims and coordinate effective resolution and communication.
  • Manage customer approval processes for new products, changes, or trials.
  • Build strong customer relationships by providing timely, professional technical service.
  • Leadership & People Management
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the Quality & CTS team.
  • Ensure adequate training and competency development for laboratory, quality control, and technical staff.
  • Promote a culture of quality, compliance, and customer focus across the plant.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and food safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate quality and technical records, reports, and KPIs for management and customers.
  • Report regularly to senior management on quality performance, risks, and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Food Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 7–10 years' experience in quality management within manufacturing, preferably in can making, packaging, or FMCG sectors.
  • Experience in customer technical service and direct customer support.
  • Proven track record in managing audits, certifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage.
