About the role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer and Internship Students to join our manufacturing team in Shah Alam, Selangor. As a CNC Programmer, you will play a vital role in programming and operating our state-of-the-art CNC machines to produce high-quality components and parts for our clients. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for professional development and career advancement.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and write CNC programming code to efficiently and accurately produce parts to customer specifications
  2. Set up, operate and monitor CNC machines during the manufacturing process
  3. Perform quality checks on finished parts and make any necessary adjustments to the CNC programs
  4. Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes
  5. Maintain detailed records of production data and CNC programs
  6. Assist with the maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines as needed

What we're looking for

  1. Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical discipline
  2. Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, ideally in a manufacturing environment
  3. Strong understanding of CNC machine programming languages, such as G-code and M-code
  4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve manufacturing issues
  5. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
  6. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  7. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with the broader team
