About the Role

Internal system operation and maintenance, rapid troubleshooting response, technical support delivery, and cross-departmental collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Internal System Operations and Maintenance: Responsible for the daily monitoring and maintenance of the company's global IT infrastructure (servers, network equipment, and cloud platforms), ensuring the stable operation of internal systems such as the Digital Oilfield Project Management System and the cross-border collaboration platform.
  • Rapid Troubleshooting: Handle IT troubleshooting reports from headquarters and overseas project teams (such as account permission anomalies, system lags, and data backup failures) through the internal ticketing system, responding and locating the root cause within 2 hours.
  • Technical Support Delivery: Provide remote desktop support to overseas teams (e.g., equipment system reinstallation for the Middle East project department), assist with the deployment of internally developed intelligent monitoring tool clients, and ensure the implementation of technical solutions.
  • Cross-departmental Collaboration: Sync with the R&D team on system upgrade requirements, collaborate with the procurement department on hardware equipment selection and inventory management, and promote the standardization of internal IT processes.

Qualifications

  • Education: Malaysian applicants with a bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or Information Management.
  • Professional Skills: Proficient in TCP/IP protocols and basic configuration of network equipment (switches, firewalls); familiarity with daily maintenance of SQL Server/MySQL databases. Familiarity with Windows Server/Linux system administration, including domain controller configuration.
  • Personal Qualifications: Possess ITIL service management philosophies and a strong sense of responsibility; able to adapt to 24/7 support (covering global time zones) and withstand high pressure.
