Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and support on corporate transactions, M&A, and other business dealings to safeguard the Group's interests.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate diverse legal documents including contracts, agreements, and corporate governance materials.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare analysis on complex legal issues.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines across various jurisdictions.
  • Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments affecting the Group's operations.
  • Liaise with external professionals such as bankers, auditors, tax advisors, underwriters, lawyers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Coordinate with legal teams in key global hubs: Malaysia, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Singapore, United States, United Kingdom, and others.
  • Support Group HQ management on cross-border compliance matters involving regulated or licensed businesses.
  • Provide case-by-case legal assistance to portfolio companies within the Group.
  • Handle any other legal matters assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Law / Professional Qualification (or equivalent).

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in:

  • corporate & commercial advisory

  • private equity or investment transactions
  • cross-border corporate matters
  • Strong exposure to contract review, legal consultation, and clause drafting/modification.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and recommend practical solutions.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with internal teams to coordinate resources and resolve legal issues.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
