About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the SSGE Bio Energy (M) Sdn Bhd team as an Electrician. Based in Langkap Perak, this full-time role will see you play a key part in the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems, ensuring our equipment runs safely and efficiently.

What you'll be doing

  1. Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues across our manufacturing equipment and systems
  2. Performing scheduled maintenance and preventative checks on electrical components
  3. Installing, testing and commissioning new electrical equipment and infrastructure
  4. Ensuring all electrical work is carried out to the highest safety standards
  5. Collaborating with the broader operations team to minimise downtime and optimise performance
  6. Maintaining detailed records of all electrical work undertaken

What we're looking for

  1. Formal qualification in Electrical Engineering or a relevant trade
  2. Minimum 3 years' experience as an Electrician in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation and machinery
  4. Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  5. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
