Duration: Full Time- Contract

Position Overview

The Logistics Planning Executive provides administrative support to the Planning and Logistics Department where develops and manages transportation, warehousing, and distribution plans to ensure efficiency. They coordinate with internal teams and external partners, manage shipment schedules, and monitor inventory levels to prevent stock issues. The role involves analyzing logistics data, generating reports, and supporting process improvements to optimize overall logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics Planning:

  • Develop and optimize logistics plans to ensure efficient transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods.

Coordination:

  • Coordinate with internal departments (production, procurement, sales, etc.) and external partners (logistics service providers, suppliers, etc.) to align logistics activities with business objectives.

Schedule Management:

  • Create and manage shipment schedules, monitor delivery timelines, and adjust plans as needed to meet customer requirements and project deadlines.

Inventory Control:

  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate data flow between warehouse and ERP systems to avoid stockouts or overstock situations.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze logistics performance data (e.g., delivery time, cost, and quality), generate regular reports, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

System & Process Improvement:

  • Support logistics system implementation and continuous improvement projects, contributing to process standardization and automation.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Administration, Business Management or related fields.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English & Malay Language. Proficiency in Mandarin (both spoken and written) is an added advantage.
