Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Accountant to manage daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role is ideal for candidates with a solid foundation in accounting principles and software, who are looking to grow within a professional and supportive finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, and journal entries.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring cash flow.
  • Ensure all accounting records are accurate and comply with financial reporting standards.
  • Liaise with internal departments, auditors, and bankers on accounting-related matters.
  • Support the finance team in day-to-day operations.
  • Perform any ad-hoc accounting or administrative tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Proficient in accounting software such as UBS, SQL, or Autocount.
  • Basic knowledge of SST and tax filing is an added advantage.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work independently.
  • Able to meet reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relocation support & allowances available for suitable candidates outside of Bintulu.
