About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join ASIA PACIFIC PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SDN. BHD.' as an F&B Supervisor in our Kuching, Sarawak location. As an F&B Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our food and beverage department, delivering exceptional customer service and managing a team of talented hospitality professionals.

What you'll be doing

  1. Overseeing the daily operations of the food and beverage department, including scheduling, staff management, and inventory control
  2. Ensuring high standards of food and beverage service, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction
  3. Providing leadership and training to the front-of-house team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  4. Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure timely and high-quality food preparation
  5. Handling customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and empathy
  6. Monitoring and reporting on department performance, identifying areas for improvement
  7. Assisting with the implementation of new initiatives and process improvements

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar F&B supervisory role.
  2. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  3. Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to handle high-pressure situations
  4. Proficient in inventory management, cost control, and budget monitoring
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions
  6. Passionate about the hospitality industry and committed to delivering exceptional experiences
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
