Job Description:

  • Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the attraction, hiring, and on-boarding of qualified talent across all levels of the organization.
  • Employee Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for all employee relations issues, ensuring that all concerns, grievances, and conflicts are addressed in a fair and timely manner, fostering a positive workplace environment.
  • Training and Development:Identify training needs, create learning and development plans, and ensure continuous employee development to build skills and capabilities that drive business performance.
  • Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies. Review and update company policies and procedures to align with best practices and local legal requirements.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, creating a work environment that promotes employee well-being and organizational loyalty.
  • HR Reporting and Analytics: Monitor key HR metrics, prepare reports for senior management, and analyze data to inform decisions regarding workforce planning, retention strategies, and talent development.
  • Health & Safety: Work closely with other departments to promote health and safety initiatives, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.

  • Any ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.

Job Requirement

  • Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in human resources, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

  • Proven experience in managing HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, training& development in a manufacturing or technology environment.
  • Must be proficient in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Melayu (spoken and written) to effectively communicate with Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu speaking clients
  • Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of Malaysian labour laws, HR best practices, and compliance regulations.

  • Experience in developing and executing HR strategies that support business goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly in resolving employee issues or conflicts.
  • Ability to analyst HR data and make data-driven decisions to improve HR practices.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, able to motivate and develop HR teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
