About Us:

MXM Surfaces is a quartz stone manufacturer committed to safety, health, and environmental standards. We are looking for a Safety Assistant cum Facilities Technician to support our Safety department and maintain company facilities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform safety tasks for the Safety department, including record management, scheduling, and assisting ISO and regulatory compliance (DOSH/DOE/BOMBA/etc).

• Ensure proper functioning and periodic servicing of fire protection systems (extinguishers, hydrants, alarms).

• Assist in planning and coordinating the arrival of foreign workers.

• Manage hostel amenities inventory and First Aid kit replenishment.

• Handle workplace injury follow-up and emergency response coordination.

• Support OSH management system implementation, site inspections, risk assessments, and SWP.

• Monitor contractor safety performance and support all departments on environmental, fire, health, and PPE compliance.

• Assist in maintenance tasks for electrical, plumbing, and facility equipment (hostel only).

• Monitor and update facility maintenance logs and inventory for tools & equipment.

• Perform ad-hoc duties as required.

Job Requirements:

• Certificate/Diploma in related field (Safety, Facilities, or Mechanical an advantage).

• Minimum 1–2 years experience in safety, facilities, or maintenance role.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and safety-conscious.

• Fluent in Mandarin and English.
