Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and engage new customers within your assigned region, with a focus on mid-to-large manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Build a robust pipeline of new business opportunities across sectors such as EV/automotive, power generation, motors, and transformers.
  • Engage with technical stakeholders (design, engineering, procurement) to position product solutions that meet performance and compliance needs.
  • Translate customer requirements (e.g., thermal rating, insulation type, conductor material) into clear proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal R&D, operations, and logistics teams to align solutions and delivery with customer expectations.
  • Manage contract negotiations and pricing within defined commercial guidelines.
  • Monitor regional market trends and competitor activity to identify emerging opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual new business revenue targets.
  • Accurately maintain CRM data and provide regular forecasting updates.

Requirement

  • 3–7+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in
    magnet wire, electrical components, or materials for motors, transformers, or EV powertrains
    .
  • Proven ability to hunt, develop, and close new customer accounts.
  • Technical knowledge of magnet wire and related products (copper/aluminum conductors, insulation types, thermal performance, etc.).
  • Comfortable engaging with engineers, designers, and procurement professionals.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage a regional sales strategy.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and modern sales tools.
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory (approx. 30–50%).
