Engineer - IETP

Job Descriptions:

• Develop, review, and implement Inspection, Examination, and Test Plans (IETP) for static and rotating equipment, piping systems, tanks, boilers, pressure vessels, and associated plant assets.
• Conduct and coordinate NDT activities (UT, MT, PT, RT, PAUT) with internal teams or certified external contractors.
• Ensure compliance with DOSH, DOE, and relevant Malaysian regulations (e.g., FMA, EPA, Scheduled Waste Regulations).
• Maintain detailed records for inspections, test results, equipment certifications, and mechanical integrity reports.
• Monitor equipment condition and recommend corrective and preventive maintenance actions.
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and deviations.
• Assist in the commissioning, decommissioning, and periodic assessment of plant equipment.
• Provide engineering support for shutdown/turnaround planning and execution.
• Ensure all IETP activities meet ASME, API, ISO and other relevant industry standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability, safety performance, and inspection processes.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in plant maintenance, inspection, QA/QC, or mechanical integrity roles.
• Experience in oil & gas, chemical, waste management, or refinery industries is an added advantage.

Pay: Up to RM3,700.00 per month
