Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Positioning

  • Develop and maintain a cohesive group-wide brand architecture across restaurants, cafés, and future bakery concepts.
  • Ensure each sub-brand has a unique identity while aligning with the group's overarching brand values.
  • Lead rebranding and positioning initiatives for newly acquired brands.

Marketing & Growth

  • Own the end-to-end marketing roadmap, including digital, offline, PR, influencer partnerships, and loyalty programs.
  • Plan and execute national and regional brand campaigns, measuring impact and performance.
  • Drive customer acquisition and retention through data-driven marketing strategies.

Brand Amplification & Awards

  • Design strategies to achieve recognition in Tatler Dining, Top Café lists, and Michelin Guide awards.
  • Manage press relations, partnerships, and collaborations with premium lifestyle brands.

Digital & Content Direction

  • Oversee storytelling, social media, content marketing, and video production strategies.
  • Lead in-house teams and agency partners to deliver creative, brand-aligned content.

Expansion Marketing

  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new outlet openings across Malaysia and internationally.
  • Plan brand integration for acquisitions, such as bakeries or scalable café units.
  • Support investor presentations, brand decks, and M&A communications.

Sustainability & ESG Branding

  • Integrate ESG narratives into marketing, highlighting transparency, community engagement, sustainability, and ethics.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Fluent in Mandarin (written and spoken).
  • Visionary storyteller with the ability to shape and scale brands across multiple verticals.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution skills, balancing creative and commercial objectives.
  • Proven experience in F&B, lifestyle, or hospitality branding; regional exposure is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing trends, brand positioning, and growth strategies.
  • Bonus: Experience with acquisitions, integration marketing, or rebranding.
  • Experience in venture-backed or evolving family businesses is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success in launching brands recognized in regional F&B or hospitality awards.
  • Passion for storytelling rooted in community, culinary culture, and experiential marketing.
