Responsibilities:

  • Report daily site progress and issues to the DGM/Project Manager.
  • Oversee and monitor infrastructure works to ensure alignment with the master and detailed work programs.
  • Supervise site activities to ensure all works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
  • Liaise with contractors, sub-contractors, and consultants for site inspections and coordination matters.
  • Review and verify C&S drawings to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct inspections at various stages of construction to ensure work conforms to specifications, quality, and safety requirements.
  • Prepare and verify PQP forms, checklists, and maintain accurate daily site records.
  • Ensure adherence to the company's internal processes, procedures, and QESH standards.
  • Verify contractors' progress claims and validate completed work.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time by the superior.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in infrastructure or civil construction projects.
  • Familiar with construction drawings, specifications, and quality inspection procedures.
  • Good knowledge of infrastructure works such as road, drainage, earthwork, and utilities.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and possess good communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to ensuring quality and safety on site.
  • Possess a valid CIDB Green Card; IOW certification will be an added advantage.
  • Willing to be based at project site as required.
