Sales Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing equipment, after sales and service activities, including cold callings, planning customer and site visits, creating and building rapport, consultation on all opportunities, and obtaining all key contacts (telephone numbers and emails).
- Apply all information in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and use day-to-day reporting systems effectively.
- Learn on process and application, always discuss with Product Team on customer needs.
- Understand customer needs, pain points, and business challenges to create customized sales proposals with the sales team.
- Create opportunities for Product Team to present and demonstrate product key features and functionalities, addressing technical questions and concerns from customers.
- Work closely with Product & After Sales Team to secure new equipment inquiries and also well support the customers.
- Daily qualifying and face time whenever possible to create Sales Opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather technical requirements and ensure that successful implementation of solutions.
- Provide after-sales support to customers, including technical troubleshooting and customer training, ensuring their satisfaction with the product or service.
- Provide active feedback and insights from the market to the product development and marketing team.
- Participate in sales meetings, trade shows, and industry events to promote our products or services.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics and competitor offerings.
- Perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned by superiors and be flexible to multitasking whenever required.
Requirement:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent.
- Preferably specialized in Engineering/Technical/IT or equivalent.
- Familiarity in industries such as oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical, water & wastewater treatment & engineering companies, and other related industries.
- 1-2 years' experience in Engineering Sales, candidates in analyzer field highly preferred.
- Process own transport and willing to travel extensively with the shortest notice.
- Must be willing to be involved in entertaining customers and business partners.
- Result-driven, self-motivated, positive working attitude, and able to work independently.
- Required Language: Bahasa Malaysia, English.
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and the ability to solve problems.
- Must be tech-savvy, proficient with Microsoft Suites (Microsoft Teams etc)
