What you'll be doing?
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts and reports in compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Inventory Management: Take ownership of inventory control, including physical stock counts, identifying variances, and computing necessary provisions.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct monthly analysis to provide valuable insights supporting management decision-making processes.
  • Budgeting Support: Actively participate in and provide crucial support for the annual budget preparation process.
  • Consolidated Reporting: Prepare consolidated financial reports and coordinate submissions to the Group, maintaining high standards of accuracy.
  • Subsidiary Oversight: Review and oversee the financial performance of subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with Group standards and requirements.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational Background: A non-degree tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or accounting roles.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English, Malay and Mandarin is required to facilitate effective communication with diverse stakeholders and international teams.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to financial reporting and analysis, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
  • Team Player: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with subsidiaries.
