Role Summary
We are looking for experienced Technical Support Engineers (L1/L2) to support enterprise customers in backup, recovery, and data management environments. This role involves troubleshooting, remote problem-solving, and managing complex technical issues related to backup infrastructures and disaster recovery solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues for backup and recovery products, both remotely and on-site.
- Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, networking, and application-related problems using remote support tools.
- Monitor and manage backup operations, disaster recovery plans, and storage utilization.
- Document technical procedures, case notes, and solutions accurately.
- Perform root cause analysis and escalate software bugs or product improvement requests.
- Participate in labs, simulations, and product beta testing.
- Deliver high-quality support via phone, email, and online channels.
- Collaborate with product development and engineering teams for advanced troubleshooting.
- Stay updated on product changes, new technologies, and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in technical or customer support, preferably in enterprise backup and recovery environments.
- Hands-on experience with backup/recovery software; familiarity with tools like Veritas, Veeam, NetBackup, or Avamar is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows Server, Linux, VMware/Hyper-V, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience implementing, configuring, and monitoring enterprise backup solutions.
- Excellent communication skills in English + Chinese
