Overview
We are seeking a proactive Product Manager to lead the growth of our digital solutions — including payroll, e-invoicing, and online company incorporation. You will bridge business, customers, and technology to deliver products that simplify compliance and enhance efficiency.
The role combines strategic planning and hands-on execution — defining product priorities, translating ideas into features, and driving launches that create real user and business value. You'll also develop product documentation, sales tools, and enablement materials that empower teams and support go-to-market success, with opportunities to explore AI and automation for future innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and Prioritise the Product Roadmap
Define product goals and priorities that align customer needs, compliance requirements, and business objectives.
- Translate strategy into actionable plans with clear milestones and timelines.
Ensure cross-functional alignment and timely execution across business and technical teams.
Understand Customers and Market Trends
Gather insights from customer feedback, usage data, and industry research to identify improvement areas and opportunities.
- Benchmark against competitors and track regulatory developments (eg. e-invoicing, payroll compliance).
Recommend enhancements that strengthen product relevance, competitiveness, and market fit.
Translate Ideas into Product Requirements
Convert concepts and feedback into clear product briefs or PRDs with objectives, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with software and design teams to clarify requirements, prioritize backlogs, and ensure quality delivery.
Participate in UAT and review sessions to confirm features meet expectations.
Drive Product Launch and Marketing Activities
Plan and coordinate product launches, feature rollouts, and internal readiness sessions.
- Develop enablement materials including sales decks, demos, FAQs, and knowledge base updates.
Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, webinars, and communications that drive feature awareness and adoption.
Support Internal Teams and Customers
Serve as the internal product expert for Sales, Support, and Marketing teams.
- Provide regular training, updated documentation, and product insights to ensure consistent messaging.
Support customer-facing teams with the right tools and information to enhance service quality and sales effectiveness.
Monitor Product Success and Continuous Improvement
Track product performance through metrics such as usage, adoption, and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze data and feedback to identify opportunities for enhancement or innovation.
- Collaborate with teams to refine user experience, strengthen product value, and explore AI-driven improvements for future growth.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field. A background in computer science or business technology is an advantage.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in product management, product marketing, or business solutions — ideally in taxation, payroll, accounting, e-invoicing, or corporate services.
- Strong understanding of digital business workflows and compliance processes (e.g., payroll statutory requirements, LHDN MyInvois e-invoice framework, company incorporation procedures).
- Skilled at market research, competitor benchmarking, and turning insights into product recommendations.
- Excellent documentation and presentation abilities — capable of creating clear, concise sales decks, product guides, and knowledge-base materials.
- Awareness or curiosity in applying AI and automation to improve product features, user experience, or internal workflows.
- Proficient in Mandarin for regional collaboration.
- Experience with SaaS platforms, API integrations, or cloud-based business solutions is a plus.
