Position Overview
The
Sales Executive (Import & Export Department)
will play a key role in expanding Savor Of Life's international product distribution network. This role focuses on developing strategic relationships with overseas buyers and local distributors, handling product registration and compliance processes, and ensuring successful export and import operations.
You will work closely with our CEO, operations, and marketing teams to drive international growth for Savor Of Life's ready-to-eat (RTE) meals, healthy desserts, and natural health products.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and engage potential international distributors, retail partners, and importers.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve export sales targets.
- Conduct regular market research to identify opportunities in key regions (SEA, Middle East, etc.).
- Manage B2B client relationships, negotiations, and contracts.
- Represent Savor Of Life at trade shows, expos, and international networking events.
Import & Export Operations
- Coordinate with logistics and regulatory teams to ensure timely shipments and documentation compliance.
- Support the KKM (Ministry of Health) product registration and import/export licensing process.
- Ensure products meet the import/export requirements of each target market.
- Maintain accurate records of export activities, pricing, and client communications.
Internal Coordination
- Collaborate with the production and e-commerce teams to align product supply with export demand.
- Provide feedback to the marketing team regarding market trends and customer preferences.
- Work with finance to monitor payment terms, credit limits, and collection timelines.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Business, International Trade, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in sales, import/export, or international business (F&B or FMCG preferred).
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Understanding of export documentation, INCOTERMS, and logistics coordination.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Organized, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in English; Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage.
