Role Purpose

To Plan and execute all Transfer of work projects per Company and Customer Requirements. Generate Get to Green Plans for selected suppliers to ensure Operation Schedules are met and protected. Conduct Supplier rate assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Supplier Development Manager in day-to-day project task
  • Distress supplier management, TOW activities, Rate assessments and Tactical Offloads Project execution.
  • Support Supplier Development Manager from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation. i.e. Full grasp of Life Cycle Management.
  • Supporting Manager in ensuring all Projects allocated meet operations / company's revenue requirements. Project includes TOW, Tactical offloads and Distress Supplier management Develop and Monitor detail project status/PFEP and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met
  • Develop and monitor new suppliers Ramp up/ramp down profile and ensure Subang's operation lines are protected.
  • Develop and review with suppliers APQP Documents and monitor progress and status to ensure FAI and serial production deliveries are stable as per engineering and quality requirements
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan
  • Supporting Supplier Development Manager in Supplier Rate assessments
  • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
  • Interface with overseas customers via face-to-face, email correspondence and teleconferencing.
  • Establish and maintain good relationships and close communication with customers and all program stakeholders
  • AOB work as when required

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in technical disciplines such as aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering or material science.
  • 3-5 years of working experience in relevant fields.
  • Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia in speaking, listening and writing.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to negotiate and manage stakeholders
  • Excellent MS Office tools skills while CATIA skills will be an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and planning skills.
  • Ability to Multitask
  • Solid business acumen and strong drive for business improvements.
  • Proven track record of ability to perform under minimal supervision.
  • Malaysian citizen or hold relevant residence status.
