Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the Electrical team to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations.
  • Plan and oversee maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental policies and regulations.
  • Monitor and ensure preventive and predictive maintenance activities are carried out effectively to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and meetings to identify and resolve operational or technical issues.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and statutory compliance (e.g., SIRIM, certificates of fitness).
  • Ensure all major electrical equipment is maintained and operating at optimal performance.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Candidate with Diploma and relevant working experiences also encouraged to apply.
  • Preferably 2-3 years of working experience as Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Hands-on with good troubleshooting ability.
  • Analytical, proactive, and able to make sound decisions.
  • Good in planning, organizing, and coordination.
  • Knowledge of high voltage electrical systems, transformers, auxiliary systems, and instrumentation is an advantage.
