Managerial and Coordination Requirements:

  • Plan, Organize, Direct and Control the production with optimum manpower utilised.
  • Improve machine Availability, Performance and Quality (OEE).
  • Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods.
  • Conduct routine scheduled maintenance and respond to equipment faults.
  • Conduct time study to improve Machine Cycle Time(MCT) and Labour Cycle Time(CT)
  • Conduct 8D analysis to systematically analyze technical issues and propose corrective actions and execute to closure.
  • Periodically review Control Plans and strengthen processes to produce quality products consistently.
  • Liaise with internal/external supplier/customers.
  • Uphold highest level of safety at department.

Degree of Complexity / Degree of Freedom

  • Coordination with other departments, including Quality, Planning, Production and Purchasing
  • Continuously improve processes focusing on first time right.
  • Work co-operatively with all internal/external stakeholders.

Authority:

  • Authorize to implement new ideas for quality, productivity and cost improvement.
  • Planning, directing, disciplining of workforce.
  • To stop work under unsafe condition and if product quality does not conform to requirement

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of practical experience.

Knowledge / Skill

  • Preferably with LEAN Manufacturing experience.
  • Result-orientated and team worker.
  • Good supervisory and interpersonal skill.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to lead and motivate others.
