Job Description

Handling sales origination, credit proposals, legal documentation, disbursement, collection and supervision of the financing facilities.

Key Accountabilities

  • Handling financing applications and conducting thorough checking, verification and assessment of the documents and information furnished by Customers.
  • Prepare Credit Paper/Appraisal Report (AR) based on the approved MIDF formats and guidelines stipulated in the Operational Procedures for Lending Operations.
  • Submit the AR to the Credit Management Department for an Independent Credit Risk Assessment (ICRA) to address the issues raised in the ICRA.
  • Table and present the completed AR to the Credit and Investment Committee/Regional Heads for decision.
  • Record the observations of the Credit and Investment Committee/Regional Head and address all observations and obtain the relevant approvals.
  • To instruct Middle Office to prepare the Letter of Offer. To handle the acceptance of the LO by customers.
  • Liaise with Solicitors to ensure the completion of legal documentation of the financing facilities.
  • To handle the disbursement of the financing facilities.
  • Supervision of the financing portfolio.
  • Execute any work that may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor and/or by the management.

Qualification & Experience

  • Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics, Business Administration/Marketing/ Engineering
  • Preferably with Professional Credit Certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of practical experience in banking or development finance and related fields.
