What you'll be doing?

• Equipment Automation System Implementation - Lead EAS implementation by gathering client factory automation requirements, documenting specifications, and ensuring comprehensive project delivery from concept to completion

• Equipment Driver Development - Generate sophisticated equipment drivers including SECS/GEM documentation study, define related protocol streams and functions, and conduct thorough equipment characterization

• System Design and Integration - Design and finalize equipment automation scenarios, construct detailed event flow diagrams, and collaborate with clients for final buyoff including MES linkage and peripheral applications

• Development and Testing - Manage EAS development and integration testing with equipment simulation, ensuring robust functionality before deployment

• Quality Assurance - Conduct final acceptance testing with equipment following approved test plans to guarantee system reliability and performance

• Hardware Architecture - Design, setup, and configure hardware architecture for EAS project implementation, ensuring optimal system performance

• Stakeholder Coordination - Coordinate and interact effectively with external and internal parties including IT departments, users, and equipment vendors

• Technical Problem Solving - Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation software and interface problems with precision and efficiency

• Product Enhancement - Contribute to EAS core modules enhancement and development, driving continuous improvement and innovation

• Customer Engagement - Conduct product demonstrations of EAS solutions to customers, showcasing technical capabilities and business value

Who are they looking for?

• Educational Foundation - Degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent discipline, providing the technical foundation for complex automation projects

• Industry Experience - Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in semiconductor or solar industry, bringing deep sector knowledge and practical expertise

• Automation Expertise - Proven experience in equipment integration and automation development with strong knowledge of Semiconductor Automation standards such as SECS/GEM protocol (E30, E37, GEM300, and SEMI PV2)

• Programming Proficiency - Strong technical skills in C/C++, C#, Visual Basic, Java, CORBA, and Windows MFC Application development for creating robust automation solutions

• Factory Automation Knowledge - Comprehensive understanding of factory automation technology with familiarity across various semiconductor equipment types

• Cleanroom Experience - Proven experience working with cleanroom automated equipment and thorough knowledge of cleanroom work environment and requirements

• Database Skills - Knowledge of relational databases, especially Oracle and DB2, is advantageous for data management and integration

• Industry 4.0 Awareness - Good understanding of Industry 4.0 and IoT concepts to support modern manufacturing initiatives

• Communication Skills - Excellent communication and documentation skills in English with fluency in Mandarin essential for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders. Mandarin proficiency is required to support regional business operations and client relationships

• Travel Flexibility - Willingness to travel as needed to support client implementations and business development activities
