We are seeking a General Manager / Senior Manager to lead, strategize, and drive the growth of IPO Mall's business operations, partnerships, and market presence.
Job Description:
- Develop and implement effective Sales & Marketing strategies to drive business growth;
- Lead overall business operations of the mall, ensuring strong performance in both retail and wholesale segments.
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive sales growth, tenant engagement, and customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including: Property developers, architects, quantity surveyors, M&E and C&S consultants, project management consultants, and interior designers.
- Explore and secure new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations within the interior, building materials, and home furnishing industry.
- Oversee leasing, tenant management, and product mix strategy to strengthen the mall's positioning.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and risks.
- Manage and guide a cross-functional team to achieve business targets and operational excellence.
- Ensure effective marketing, branding, and promotional activities to increase traffic and sales.
- Provide regular business reports, forecasts, and updates to senior management.;
Requirement:
- Minimum 5–10 years of working experience, preferably within interior products, building materials, or related industries.
- Strong network and connections with property developers, consultants (architects, QS, M&E, C&S, PMC), and interior designers.
- Proven experience in wholesale and/or retail business management is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking abilities.
- Candidates with prior experience in companies such as IKEA, Harvey Norman, SSF, HomePro, MR.DIY, Courts, or other large-scale retail/wholesale businesses are highly encouraged to apply.
- Have own transportation to work.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: RM8, RM15,000.00 per month
