Accountability Statement/Summary

We are looking for motivated and tech-savvy interns to support our Finance team, with a key focus on the e-invoicing implementation project in line with LHDN requirements. This internship offers hands-on experience in data management, vendor master updates, and regulatory compliance within the pharmaceutical industry. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and gain valuable exposure to real-world finance operations and digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities include but not limited to;

  • Assist in searching and retrieving Tax Identification Numbers (TIN) for doctors from official sources.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of TIN data for each vendor.
  • Update and maintain vendor master data in the internal system to ensure alignment with LHDN self-billing requirements.
  • Consolidate and organize data into structured formats for ease of reporting and audit purposes.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders (e.g., Procurement, Compliance) to clarify or validate vendor details when necessary.
  • Assist in identifying data gaps, inconsistencies, or errors and work with relevant teams to resolve them.
  • Explore and recommend digital transformation initiatives on identified gaps.
  • Provide general support to the Finance team on administrative or data-related tasks as needed.

Required requisites:

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling large datasets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential; familiarity with Excel Macros, Power Query, and Power BI is a strong advantage.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent proficiency in English would be ideal.
  • Good team leader and a strong team player.
  • Able to job multi tasks and meet strict deadlines as required.
  • Additional IT or data management background would be ideal.
