1. Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure all fasteners comply with AS9100, NADCAP, ISO 9001, and customer-specific aerospace requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures, work instructions, and inspection criteria.

2. Inspection & Testing

  • Perform and oversee dimensional inspections, mechanical testing, and non-destructive testing (NDT) for aerospace fasteners.
  • Utilize CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments for inspection.
  • Analyze material test reports (MTRs) and ensure conformance to aerospace material standards.

3. Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Actions

  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
  • Conduct 8D problem-solving, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Statistical Process Control (SPC) to reduce defects.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve non-conformance issues and ensure supplier quality performance.

4. Process Improvement & Lean Initiatives

  • Support Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement projects to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Work with production teams to implement process validation and control plans.

5. Customer & Supplier Interaction

  • Work with customers and regulatory agencies on quality concerns, audits, and approvals.
  • Support supplier quality management, including audits, qualification, and performance evaluation.
