About Us

HaloVega Solar is a fast-growing solar cell manufacturing startup based in Perai, Penang. As we ramp up operations, we are seeking dedicated Superintendents to lead teams of engineers, technicians, and operators across Production, Process, Equipment, and Facility departments. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations, stable performance, and continuous improvement throughout our plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise engineers, technicians, and operators to achieve output, yield, and quality targets.
  • Oversee production, process, equipment, and facility performance to ensure stability and minimal downtime.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts between Production, Process, Equipment, Facility, and Quality teams.
  • Analyze production and maintenance data to identify root causes and implement improvement actions.
  • Manage manpower planning, shift schedules, and resources for efficient operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, 5S, environmental, and operational standards.
  • Drive preventive maintenance, facility reliability, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Provide coaching and skill development for operators and technical staff.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Chemical, Industrial, or related field).
  • Preferably with solar cell or semiconductor manufacturing experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory or senior-level experience in production, process, equipment, or facility functions.
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Willing to work extended shifts when required.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills across departments.
