About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Group Senior Account Executive to join our Group Finance team based in Damansara Heights, KL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing full sets of accounts, performing financial analysis, and supporting group-level reporting and consolidation activities. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively across subsidiaries and departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle full set of accounts (GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliation, and journal entries) for assigned companies within the group.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports in accordance with accounting standards and group timelines.
  • Perform intercompany reconciliation, consolidation schedules, and ensure accuracy in group reporting.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support management decision-making.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and bankers to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Review accounting entries and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and supported with documentation.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to internal control policies.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff within the group.

Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in accounting.
  • Experience in group consolidation or multi-entity reporting is an added advantage.
  • Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, MIA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in accounting software.
  • Meticulous, organized, and able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative working style.
