Job Description

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for OOG/Breakbulk cargo across key industries.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth in the project cargo segment by building and maintaining strong relationships with freight forwarders, project logistics providers, and direct shippers.
  • Collaborate with operations, technical, and pricing teams to assess cargo feasibility and ensure safe stowage and transport including supporting cargo planning, lifting, lashing, and securing requirements for OOG/Breakbulk shipments.
  • Provide input on port capabilities and equipment availability for special cargo handling and monitor market trends and identify opportunities and threats.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis
  • Reports directly to Sales Manager

Job Requirement

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, Logistic/Transportation, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Maritime Studies, Sales & Commerce or equivalent.
  • Candidate with min 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field of shipping / logistics is required for th
  • Candidate from shipping / logistics sales background will OOG and break-bulk is compulsory.
  • Candidate that are aggressive, independent, good team player and a self-starter, excellent communication & negotiation is needed for this role.
  • Candidate with a strong understanding of international trade regulations and shipping procedures is needed including the ability to analyze market trends and develop sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Able to speak and write professional English
