Noahs Clinic SS19 Subang Jaya is a growing, patient‑first outpatient clinic under Noahs Healthcare. We focus on efficient, compassionate care and a smooth patient journey from booking to follow‑up.
The role
We're hiring a full‑time Medical Assistant to support our clinicians during standard office hours (Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm). You'll blend hands‑on clinical support with organized front‑of‑house/admin work to keep the day moving and patients happy.
What you'll do
- Greet and prepare patients; obtain vitals, histories, and medication lists.
- Assist clinicians during examinations and minor procedures.
- Perform routine clinical tasks (within training/scope): ECGs, phlebotomy, point‑of‑care tests, wound care, specimen handling, vaccinations if credentialed.
- Manage treatment rooms: restock, sterilize, maintain equipment logs.
- Handle scheduling, check‑in/out, referrals, and medical records in the EMR.
- Process prescriptions, labs, and imaging requests accurately.
- Educate patients on pre/post‑procedure instructions and follow‑ups.
- Uphold confidentiality and data protection requirements (e.g., GDPR/HIPAA, as applicable).
- Support quality audits, incident reporting, and clinic workflow improvements.
What you'll bring
- Experience as a Medical Assistant (or Healthcare Assistant) in a clinic/primary care or outpatient setting.
- Confident with EMR/EHR systems and basic Microsoft/Google tools.
- Strong patient communication, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize, stay calm under pressure, and work as a team player.
- Certifications/training relevant to the role (e.g., phlebotomy, ECG, immunisation) are a plus.
- Right to work: Authorized to work in Malaysia. Background checks/references may be required.
