The Role

We are seeking a hands-on and analytical
Group Finance Manager
to oversee financial operations across multiple portfolio businesses under the Oneteam group. This role will be based in
Kuala Lumpur
and will work closely with
local business heads
to ensure financial discipline, compliance, and performance visibility across our entities.

Financial Management & Reporting

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger maintenance
• Oversee full sets of accounts, financial reporting, and consolidation across multiple operating subsidiaries
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) accurately and on time
• Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, tax filings, and audit processes
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and banks as required
• Drive implementation of internal control systems, policies, and accounting standardisation across portfolio companies

Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis

• Lead periodic budgeting, forecasting, and rolling cash flow management across all entities
• Monitor performance against budget and identify areas of variance and cost optimisation
• Provide financial insights and data-driven recommendations to senior management for strategic decisions
• Track KPIs, cash flow projections, and working capital needs to support business decision-making

Business Partnering, Strategic Support & Process Improvement

• Partner with operational and commercial teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and margin tracking
• Enhance financial visibility through dashboards and reporting tools
• Drive automation and digitisation initiatives to streamline accounting and reporting processes
• Support Group CFO in integration of newly acquired businesses, including system migration and policy harmonisation

What You Should Bring

• A
  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance
  , or a related field (professional qualification like ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is a plus)
• 2–5 years of relevant experience
  in accounting, finance, or audit, preferably within fast-growing startups or SMEs
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, local taxation, and accounting standards
• Hands-on experience with accounting systems such as Xero, SQL, or QuickBooks, and strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and process-driven, with a proactive approach to problem solving
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English
• A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and is passionate about building scalable financial systems
