The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Civil & Structural Draughtsperson to join our dynamic team at Jurutera Perunding Rekajaya Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As a full-time member of our civil & structural engineering department, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of innovative infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings for civil and structural engineering projects
  • Assist in the preparation of Civil and Structural Engineering plans, specifications, and other technical documentation
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure the accuracy and completeness of design deliverables
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date with industry standards, codes, and regulations
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of drafting processes

What We're Looking For

  • Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil & Structural Draughtsperson preferably those who has experience in C & S consulting firms.
  • Proficient in the use of CAD software, such as AutoCAD, and other relevant design tools
  • Able to produce detailed drawings for a variety of C&S projects with minimal supervision
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under tight deadlines
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
