Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely management accounts and consolidated financial statements for the Group.
  • Support compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Perform financial analysis, variance reporting, and assist in monitoring key performance indicators.
  • Coordinate with operating companies to gather financial data and ensure timely submission of reports.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and internal departments to ensure smooth audits and compliance.
  • Participate in process improvements initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and internal controls.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field, with consolidated accounting included in syllabus.
  • Minimum 5 - 7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with exposure to group consolidation.
  • Good understanding of accounting standards (MFRS/IFRS) and financial reporting requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving, with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with ERP/accounting systems is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
  • A team player who is proactive, responsible, and able to work within tight deadlines.
