Job Scope & Responsibilities:
  • Carry out hands-on plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair works at site including water piping, sanitary fittings, valves, pumps, and water heaters.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing faults such as water leaks, pipe bursts, clogged drains, low water pressure, and faulty valves.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for plumbing systems, water tanks, grease traps, PRV systems, pumps, and sewerage lines.
  • Conduct regular site checks to identify potential plumbing issues and propose timely solutions.
  • Prepare brief reports or checklists after inspection or maintenance work, including materials used and repair records.
  • Install and test new plumbing systems according to drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Assist in renovation or upgrading works related to plumbing, sanitary, and minor mechanical systems.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors, contractors, and other trades to ensure smooth work progress.
  • Ensure sufficient tools, materials, and spare parts are available for daily maintenance work.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety, health, and environmental requirements during work execution.
  • Perform general building maintenance tasks such as basic repair, caulking, sealing, toilet fittings, and minor painting when required.
  • Support emergency maintenance calls and attend to urgent breakdowns promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and good condition of tools, equipment, and work areas.
  • Carry out any other duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Project Engineer.
  • Any other tasks or duties as assigned by superior from time to time.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate / Diploma in Plumbing, Mechanical, Building Services, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in plumbing installation, repair, or building maintenance (residential, commercial, or industrial).
  • Strong hands-on skills in repairing, replacing, and maintaining plumbing fixtures, fittings, valves, and pipelines.
  • Able to read basic plumbing and construction drawings and carry out works accordingly.
  • Knowledge in water pump systems, PRV, grease trap, and sewerage systems is an advantage.
  • Basic computer literacy (for simple reporting or checklist updates).
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision and perform physical work on site.
  • Responsible, punctual, and self-disciplined with a good attitude and teamwork spirit.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel between job sites when required.
