Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the company's legal and regulatory compliance to ensure all business activities align with statutory requirements.
  2. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, contracts, and corporate documentation.
  3. Support the Board and management in governance matters, including preparation of resolutions, minutes, and official filings.
  4. Liaise with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and external counsel on legal and compliance issues.
  5. Advise management on legal risks, policies, and business decisions to safeguard company interests.
  6. Provide guidance to internal departments on employment, contracts, and policy-related compliance matters.

Qualifications/Skill Required

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL. B) from a recognized institution.
  2. Admitted to the Malaysian Bar is an added advantage.
  3. Minimum 3–5 years of working experience in corporate legal, regulatory affairs, or commercial law.
  4. Solid knowledge of Malaysian corporate, contract, and employment law.
  5. Experience in dealing with government agencies and regulators is essential.
  6. Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
  7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage).
  8. Able to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  9. Organized, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
