About the role

We are seeking an experienced Editor to join the team at PEP PUBLICATIONS SDN BHD'. As an Editor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the content and quality of our science, mathematics, Bahasa Malaysia, social science, English and BC. This full-time position is based in Kota Damansara, Selangor.

Requirements

  • Experience in book publishing is an added advantage.
  • Full time position. Only for Malaysian citizens.
  • Must have a strong command in Bahasa Melayu, English & Mandarin.

"We are looking for Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers."

  • Must be able to read content and correct spelling, punctuation and grammatical errors.
  • Must be able to write or rewrite text.
  • Develop story and content ideas according to the publication's style and editorial policy.
  • Allocate space for the text, photos, and illustrations that make up a story or content
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to give constructive feedback
